Heheh I got a design Project for College and guess what I decided to do it about?

I will post some logos and see what you guys think of it. HOpefully I will end up doing a good website if I find enough time between classes and work!

I am open to suggestion and encourage them.

I like the sword concept 2 the most, how the hilt of the sword is used for the t and as the dot for the i.

Both of the web designs look great as well.

hehehe good because is one of my favorites. I will work on it more maybe ad some more detail to make it distinctive. Perhaps color and detail the sword or ad some shadows.

I will probably have something by wednesday and we can compare. So far the coat of arms and the Sword COncept2 are the ones that more people like. They liked the Quill writing but is awful against colored backgrounds

Very nice work on these. The sword concept 2 and the coat of arms are nicely done. I would have liked to do something more to the theme of knights however when working with the graphics I had a somewhat limited time and so tried to go w/ a theme similar to the gates in hall of the gods in FFXI. The only tricky part of implementing your picture base is the varying resolution of various computers. I believe I could do it but it would have to be centered. Other than that, great design, if I find an option to set the justification of the forum I'd love to implement parts of it. I am almost positive however that with the forum options I can't float ti in the middle though I may be wrong. Great stuff /em claps

Edit: You might also try using a few blending effects on the items in the shield to really make em pop, sometimes they make alot of difference in a good way.

The scroll is my main concern to use for the concept you made. Background and top banner look nicely done. I can use the scroll as the forum body however I tried to stray from using graphics for the body of the forum simply due to the resolution variances. If you look at this site from a 1920 widescreen resolution it looks its best for example. I tried to simply make a background that had something along the sides that could be cut off depending on varying resolutions. You'll notice the forum body color and the color of the background I matched to try and integrate it better and make it look like one page. I'd love to implement the background you made but I doubt most ppl would be able to see the whole knight to where they'd know him.

Oh no, hehehe, This is not only a forum Background but a website in total like it would be a game website or so. The forum will be linked to the forum menu as an individual page. I would not be able to buy a private name for Knight Life but I can make a free (ad-less) webaddress where I can show you what I mean. GIve me until wednesday at fastest saturday at latest ad you will see what I mean.

Knight Life Concept one Live

There is the first Web concept. I want to do so many things different just running out of time to turn it in
Will probably better it in a later future. Tested in Safari and Firefox and were fine. Do tell me if you see any bugs ((Might start practicing for when you enter the beta ))

Will have the second live by next week hopefully. That one will be in flash and xhtml instead of using as much JS as this one.

Nice work on it, if you need image help let me know. Photoshop is one of my specialties. Only thing I could point out about the look is maybe gettin rid of the stone on the right side to open the page up and make it look cleaner. Could also convert your top banner to a png maybe in order to get rid of the white space in the bottom of it.

Other than that the background looks great, the banner looks well done and the text in the top is readable while sticking to the theme of the site, nice job. I like it. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Thanks for the pointers. Yes tried the .png before hand but was giving me a weird effect. Didn't noticed it was giving a line though

And I agree totally with he wall was my best choice by time to fix a little imperfection. Better to look bad and be on purpose than look back by mistake

Will work on the flash site and afterward fix this one. . . ((loves flash and actionscript >.<))

And about the offering, well anything you want to put in the site. If you have a concept sketch it out and i can try it out!

Hi everyone just joined today good to see an effort being made to keep this going, sword concept 2 is a really cool image and the websites a good idea cant wait to see this ls grow, its gonna be great to go into eorzea among friends.
