Introducing Bahstard

(( Hey y'all, I really wanted to do this in character, but I just can't make it sound right. I've got the concept down, inside my head, but I lack the talent to make it an entertaining read. He, like myself, is rather quiet would rather listen than talk. After seeing the quality of some of the other introductions, nothing I do could compare anyway. So, here's the short version.

First, the name Bahstard, is clearly another word with the letter H just thrown in. But that other word was the only name he ever knew. From the earliest age he can remember, that was the only thing the man who raised/enslaved him ever called him. After he escaped many years later, he proudly kept the name as a reminder of all he's been through. Some people did find it offensive, so he added the h in a sarcastic attempt to pacify them.

He is a Roegadyn, and a rather large one. Despite his name, his size, and an unfortunate upbringing, he is very kind and peaceful. He has a quick wit and a great sense of humor, but he's slow to warm up to people, so few ever notice. He rarely carries a weapon. He hates to fight, but when he does, he prefers to use his fists. He is a monk in the truest sense, as he is also on a path of self enlightenment. He is wise beyond his years and more insightful than most. All his years being forced to quietly observe the world around him, led him to a more unique point of view. Feeling apart from the rest of the world he judges circumstances instead of people. He has no bias based on race, social status, or even the mistakes of ones past.

He sets out on a quest to further enlighten himself. There is one power he believes to be greater than any other, and that's quiet inner strength of an individual. Whatever it is that motivates people from all walks of life to keep moving forward, no matter how horrible the situation. The way people can look deep within themselves to find the strength to face any task fascinates him. He hopes to one day discover the source of that strength, and to see it's true power should all people ever unite for a common purpose.
