Gargor the Broken Lance

Shift the night, came the day, as the moon and sun played their daily dance. Pass of time, pass of lives, as I kept moving step by step. The Lance had gotten heavier, the legs had grown slower, and I had age old. Move one thud against the other. THUD! THUD! I listen to the rhythm of my tired feet. They screamed and yelled, if both could be done the same. THUD! THUD! they tried another step only to move away from the past. My hand held the handle of a broken sword. How can it be so heavy yet be just that. Is guilt, remorse, evil giving it weight. Rust, dust, and blood were the only design left in the elegance it once had. But, since that day, the size and shape of my fingers adorned the curves of the simple refine craftsmanship. THUD! THUD! it never stopped. Step by step I listened the past following my old body, the screams hunting my old ears, the vision blinding my blurred path. THUD!THUD!! It sounded louder as the memories returned to this old mind. My heart accelerated, my muscles flexed, my body burned in rage. THUD!!THUD!!THUD!!THUD!!! Adrenaline pupped my vessel as rage impulsed my slow decaying life. I was going to find the man, the owner of that sword, the murderer and traitor. If he, if that worthless Hyuran thought a Reogedyn was dangerous before, he had no mind to what a Reogedyn with thirst for vengeance is capable.
