Zanix ~The Preparation~

(Hey guys, I'm new here, and I hope I make lotsa friends in this guild ^^ Heres part 1 of 4 parts of my characters background story. Enjoy!)


~The Preparation~


Ocilios dodged the blade like a star, each hit coming faster and faster then before. Lucas, red in the face from exhaustion, finally stopped his assault, stopping to lean on a nearby wall to catch his breath. He looked back up at Ocilios, the lean but muscular young Highlander that always seemed one step ahead of him. Lucas gave Oci a menacing grin, and gave out a yell as he started to charge at him, his sword ready to run deep into Oci’s stomach. Ocilios jumped out of the way, and as Lucas fell onto the ground after his failed charge, Lucas felt a cold tinge at the back of his neck.

Ocilios stood behind him, his spear touching the back of Lucas’ neck. Oci withdrew his spear and placed it onto his back and said “You know what you Midlanders never get? You don’t understand that you should stick to what your good at.” Lucas got up from his knees and whipped off his shirt, “Oh yeah? What are we good at?”
“Cooking”, Oci said with a grin, winking at Lucas who obviously wasn’t to hurt by his best friends joke. Lucas walked over to Oci and they both gripped each others hands tightly. Lucas smiled at Oci, but this soon faded into a worried glance. He turned away from Oci and went to look off of the mountains edge, seeing the glorious Ala Mhigo down yonder. Lucas looked up into the sky as Oci walked to his friends side and said “What‘s wrong? You‘re not still worried about the Empire…right?.”
“Well, of course I am. They’re going to take everything from us. They’re going to take away our loved ones, our beautiful, but brave city… and they’re going to take my life.”
“What? Lucas, we’ve been training for years for something this big. Don’t let me beating you discourage you, Highlanders are naturally-”
“Stop, Oci,” Lucas interrupted, putting his hand on Ocilios’ shoulder, “It wasn’t you, I just… I don’t know. I-I gotta go. I’ll see you tomorrow, alright?”

Ocilios nodded with a frown as his friend walked away. He knew Lucas was not the strongest warrior on the Ala Mhigen Army, but he had spirit. Oci walked over to the edge of the mountain edge again, but before he could soak in the sunset, he became wide eyed as he remembered his date with Terra in the Sunset Caverns was supposed to be about a half an hour ago. He went running.

((Welcome to knight life, I must say I Love the interaction in your characters, very smooth. Also, I kind of got confused when you changed from "OCilios" to "Oci" but I caught up right away. Did i said I loved he dialogue? Because I did ))

Its building, there is not much to do until the game starts. Some of us is working on the community projects such as future events, website, and such. On top of that some of us have work and school ((me for example)) Once we have something strong in ffxiv this will go alive. Please be patience

Alright. Still a point for me to continue my chapters? Or wait?
