((Hello there, this is going to be an OOC introduction, seeing as I am not definite on anything about my character for FFXIV yet except for my name (and who knows, that may even change before release ). I'll have more info about my character as more info comes out.

First off, I'd have to say that I have tried to roleplay in a few mmo's, but none of them gave me the same feeling as Final Fantasy XI. I started shortly after its NA release and eventually helped run a RP linkshell with a friend on the Siren server. I had such a great time while in character, traveling the lands of Vana'diel and adventuring with my friends.Those are my best memories of that game. The level of immersion that FFXI had made it feel so real and easy to get into my character.

With FFXIV around the corner I was hoping to find people who were also interested in roleplaying (as i'm sure this will be such a great game to do so too!) and am glad to have found it here. ))
