Race Lifespan

I hope that SE will elaborate on the lifespan of each race in FFXIV. By my knowledge they did not go into detail on this in FFXI. It would be good information to have for character backgrounds and such.

Examples:
Would the Elezen have a longer lifespan in comparison to the other races (much like Elves of most other fantasy settings)?

Do the Hyur, like mankind have a relatively shorter lifespan?

And what of the other races..

Just something I was thinking about.

Not a bad thought; I tried to compensate w/ lack of knowledge on a few points in my character intros by it being a new world to them. I'm not very knowledgeable about the world so it works for their personalities as well.

they had the whole concept, for example, that tarus do not age as they grow but humes do. Which kind of gives a life span relativity to Tarus living more than humes and elvans

Should definitely be interesting to see what specific story details SE gives us to work with for RP.

I hope lalafell dont age haha. Im more interested in seeing what the constilation star pendant that the Dunesfolk have on their foreheads is exactly.

I do too, I think is rather amazing how far they went in customization, didn't expect to be this different, *says thinking on the orange//redish ryagodyn(spelling)

I know, i'm gonna have to spend an hour or two just tinkering with my appearance when I make my character, there is just so many options! Now, I just hope that SE will start revealing some more lore of Eorzea.
