Character Drawings

I don't know if anyone wants to do this but I was wondering if some of you would want their characters to be drawn. I know that most people are probably not sure exactly what their characters will look like (I don't, anyway), but I thought it would be cool to see some illustrations of characters that show a little of their personality.

I'm willing to give it a shot, I really like to draw and lately I've been wanting to do FFXIV characters. I'm not great, but here is a Miqo'te that I drew a little while back to show you kind of what I mean. https://2img.net/h/i941.photobucket.com/albums/ad253/Elithien/Miqote-1.jpg

If you would like me to draw something for you, try and let me know of something to add to show that it is your character. Ideas from your character background for me to incorporate in would be great, could be a great aid for roleplaying.

And also, If anyone else is willing to do some drawings and such, maybe we can turn this into a list of 'people who will do the art and people who would like to have something done' topic. Let me know what you think.

Hehehe let me try one:

I want a hyur, middle age male slightly tall (5'10") lean tanned body (somehow light brown as if he had worked under the sun for a long time) and has a slightly grown bear. (probably shaves every week or so). His hair is dark brown, and is styled short in the sides and back and long enough to make a standing pony tail with the top thick hairlines. His eyes are blue and his eyebrows are slightly thick. He keeps a happy smile in a carefree expression. Never too wide open. He smiles a lot too, unless he is alone he lets his depression take over.

He uses a long (white or light cream) sleeve wool shirt, on top an adjusted and elegant yellow jacket and tight light brown leather pants. (make sure that the jacket is tight but the long sleeves are loose enough making air bag looking arms. Tide the long sleeves in the wrist too.) The boots are black, reaches half way between his ankle and knee (make sure they look old and worn) His glove is made of layers of light brown leather (carpenter gloves).

I think he will have some scars in his chest and back. One round scar in his left shoulder and in the back by the same side four other similar but slightly smaller round scars. (this is thinking tho laughs, can't show under the clothing)

That sample drawing is pretty cool Eltharian, way better then anything I could pull off.

Thanks Menuki, although I think i'm gonna postpone any character drawings for now until closer to the game launch. I wanna wait and see what all the different armor, weapons and appearances of people will look like to be able to get things more accurate to FFXIV.

Great work Eltharian, maybe if we get a few drawings going I can tie em into a graphic for the site if you'd like, I could probably make it look like a group photo.

That would be cool Guardian, a group photo would be really fun to do too, I already just came up with a few ideas in my head, heh. Maybe when gets closer to release we could see who wants their character drawn to be in it. I just want to wait to be able to see the different customizations of characters for reference and whatnot before I start on such a thing.
